Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module -J791-, Removing and Installing

The Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module -J791- is located behind the storage compartment in the driver footwell above the relay panel. The Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module -J791- also controls the parking aid functions on vehicles with rear parking aid or PLA.

Removing

Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
Remove the trim inside the driver footwell.
Push the retainers apart -arrows- and remove the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module -J791- from the mount with the wires still connected.

Disconnect the three connectors -arrows- and remove the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module -J791--1- from the vehicle.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Code the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module -J791- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
