Front Side Marker Lamp

Front Side Marker Lamp, Removing and Installing

Note

Additional information:

Note

• The front bumper cover does not need to be removed when removing or installing the front side marker lamps. The lamp is accessible through a flap in the wheel housing.
• Illustrations depict removal and installation of the left side marker lamp. Removing and installing the right side marker lamp is identical.

Removing

• Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
• Remove the screw -arrow- and open the maintenance flap.

• Squeeze both tabs in the direction of -arrow- and push the lamp toward the outside and out of the bumper cover.

• Remove the bulb socket -1-, with the bulb, straight out of the bulb housing -2- toward the rear.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

When installing the bulb socket, pay attention to the housing; the openings under the rubber seal must align with the tabs on the housing.

Front Side Marker Lamp Bulb -M11-, Replacing

Note

• The front bumper cover does not need to be removed when removing or installing the Front Side Marker Lamp Bulb -M11-.
• The illustrations show replacing the left side marker lamp. Replacing the right side marker lamp is identical.

Removing

• Remove the side marker lamp.
• Remove the glass base bulb -2- from the bulb socket -1- in the direction of -arrow-.

Front Side Marker Lamp Bulb -M11-: glass base bulb 12V, W3W

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

When installing the bulb socket, pay attention to the housing; the openings under the rubber seal must align with the tabs on the housing.

Rear Side Marker Lamps

Note

The function of the Rear Side Marker Lamp Bulb -M12- replaces the Left Tail Lamp Bulb -M4- or Right Tail Lamp Bulb -M2-.
