Remove the rear glass panel.

Replace the Front Seal and the Inner Seal.

Remove the seal from the rear glass sunroof panel -1- .

Remove any adhesive residue using Adhesive Strip Remover - VAS6349-.
The adhesion surface on the rear glass sunroof panel must be free of dust and grease.
Clean the adhesive surface thoroughly with Cleaning Solution -D 009 401 04-.
Wipe the adhesive surface on the rear glass sunroof panel using the primer towel supplied.

Note

Always pay attention to the drying time for the primer towel supplied.

Remove the protective strip from the adhesive on the new seal and press the seal on both ends.
Press seal on evenly to prevent any excess length.
Press the seal evenly using the Roller - 3356-.
Install the rear glass sunroof panel.

Replacing the Side Seal

Remove the side seal -2- from the rear glass sunroof panel profile -1- .

Note

The seal is supplied with excess length. Cut the new seal to the necessary length. It is recommended to leave the seal 1 - 2 mm longer than necessary so that it can be stretched during installation.

Remove any adhesive residue using Adhesive Strip Remover - VAS6349-.
The adhesion surface on the rear glass sunroof panel must be free of dust and grease
Clean the adhesive surface thoroughly with Cleaning Solution -D 009 401 04-.
Wipe the adhesive surface on the rear glass sunroof panel using the primer towel supplied.

Note

Always pay attention to the drying time for the primer towel supplied.

Remove the protective foil from the adhesive tape on the new seal.

Attach the new seal -2- with the retainer -1- to the glass sunroof panel -3-.
Press the seal on both ends.

Press the seal -2- on to the glass sunroof panel profile -1- even out any excess length.
Press the seal evenly using the Roller - 3356-.
Install the rear glass sunroof panel.
